Mycro Indoor Hurling League 2010

The Mycro Sports Indoor Hurling finals were played in Ballinlough on Saturday 27th Feb. Of the six games, three ended in draws including the Champions Final between the all conquering NAMA and the Developers. This game will live long in the memory as after extra time the teams could not be separated and the game finished 10 all.

The capacity crowd gave both teams ear splitting support throughout but it was eventually agreed to share the Championship honours.

The Bankers came good in the Challengers league final.

The 2010 Mycro Leagues were simply the best ever in the five year history of the competition which ensures every participant plays two games each Saturday for seven weeks. Victor Morgan, MD of Mycro Sports and Ronan Curran, Marketing manager presented medals to all the boys. Our thanks go to organisers, Michael Scannell, Paul O’Callaghan, who also refereed the 42 games played and Jodi Crowley for the league tables. The team managers John Golden, Tom Cashman,Tom Kilcommons,Liam Kennedy, Conor Butler,Colm Daly, Maurice Griffin, Tom Riordan. Donal Murray and John Cormack were excellently organised.
